Former Vice President Kamala Harris’ plan to follow former President Joe Biden’s hide-from-the-media campaign strategy – inspired by the 2020 COVID basement campaign – was a sure-fire loser, according to her former running mate.

The Harris campaign was playing defense despite the fact it was losing from the start and never caught up to President Donald Trump, Minnesota Democrat Gov. Tim Walz told Politico as he weighs his own ambitions to run for president at the top of the ticket in 2028.

“We shouldn’t have been playing this thing so safe,” Walz told Politico.
