Trump Calls for ‘Protest Votes’ From Democrat States

Former President Donald Trump, speaking in Wisconsin Saturday, called on voters in Democrat-run states to do a “major protest vote” for him to reject the Democrats’ threat to democracy for pushing to remove him from ballots.

Colorado, because it attempted to remove him from the ballot, should engage in such a vote, and “Illinois is really the same thing, and Maine is another one,” Trump said.

“Illinois has one of the worst-run states in the country, headed by a governor, J.B. Pritzker, whose family threw him out of the family business so he became governor instead,” said Trump. “His state is going to hell. It’s horrible what’s happening. So if you live in Chicago and your state is going to hell, vote for for Donald Trump. We’ll do a good job. We’ll clean it up.”
