Minutes after President Donald Trump was sworn into office Monday, administration officials shut down a mobile app that migrants had used to make appointments at the southern border.

The Customs and Border Protection app was created by the Biden administration in early 2023 and gave legal entry to nearly 1 million migrants with online appointments.

As of Monday afternoon, all appointments were canceled.
