Polls are showing that the American people are speaking out about immigration and saying they want people in the country illegally to be removed, Lt. Christopher Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety said on Newsmax Saturday. 

“The American people have spoken, and we know that the border was a serious issue,” Olivarez told Newsmax’s “Wake Up America Weekend.” “We look back at the last four years, and what we’re seeing now everything that’s being uncovered in terms of criminal illegal aliens that are in the country right now that have been released by the prior administration.”

And now, he added, “we’re having to locate these individuals, these dangerous criminals, and get them removed from the country, and the American people actually want that. They want a safer country. They want safer borders, secure borders.”
