Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation to prohibit the display of foreign flags on the grounds of the U.S. Capitol, Breitbart reported on Wednesday.

The Allegiance Act would make it illegal for members of Congress to use government funds to buy other nations’ flags and bans the display of any colors other than the U.S. flag.

Moreno, who came legally to the U.S. from Colombia, built a successful chain of luxury car dealerships in Ohio prior to running for Senate.
