Sen. Bernie Moreno, R-Ohio, on Thursday joked that pop star Taylor Swift will write a song about the “terrible breakup” between Elon Musk and Democrats.

“What a terrible breakup between the left and Elon Musk,” Moreno said during a Senate Banking Committee hearing after Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., referred to Musk as “co-president.”

“I’m convinced Taylor Swift is going to write a song about this someday,” he added.
