With the March for Life happening in Washington, D.C., Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., told Newsmax Friday he is continuing to advocate for the survivors of late-term abortions.

Marshall authored the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which requires health professionals to provide the “same degree of professional skill, care, and diligence” that would be offered during a normal childbirth.

Practitioners who violate the measure would face fines and up to five years in jail.
