The New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans that killed 14 people is another reminder that radical Islam has not gone away, Robert Wilkie, former undersecretary of defense and former secretary of Veterans Affairs told Newsmax Thursday.

“The Biden administration’s attempts to appease it, have failed,” Wilkie, a New Orleans native said on “Newsline.” “Americans have died. This will continue around the world until we wake up and call evil for what it is.”

The FBI has identified the New Orleans driver as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Bahar Jabbar, an Army veteran. Wilkie said “the PC police” prevent people from reporting extremists in the military.
