Rep. Roger Williams, R-Texas, told Newsmax on Monday that President Donald Trump’s nominee to head the Office of National Intelligence “absolutely” will be confirmed by the Senate, possibly this week.
The Senate this week is set to vote on whether to advance the nomination of former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard to serve as director of National Intelligence, with the final vote possibly coming on Tuesday night, according to Roll Call.
When asked on “Newsline” if Gabbard will be confirmed by the Senate this week, Williams said, “I absolutely do think she will.”
