Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, while praising White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt for the answers she gave during Friday’s briefing, ridiculed a reporter’s accent and called for the foreign press to be removed from the White House briefing room. 

The Georgia Republican’s comments on X came when she shared a post about the briefing from an influencer who lauded Leavitt and showed a clip from her comments, including the question from a reporter who appeared to speak with a French accent, reports Newsweek.

The reporter, whose name and affiliation have not been reported, asked Leavitt about Trump’s push to eliminate DEI hires from the Federal Aviation Administration in the wake of the deadly Washington, D.C., plane crash.
