Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., told Newsmax on Thursday that following dual terror incidents on New Year’s Day it’s clear the FBI is “more concerned about a social engineering agenda, a DEI woke agenda” than protecting innocent civilians.
Early Wednesday morning, Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, drove a pickup truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing at least 15 people and injuring dozens of others before being shot to death by police, according to authorities. Later in the day, a Tesla-made Cybertruck was detonated by Matthew Livelsberger, 37, outside the entrance to the Trump International Hotel, killing himself and injuring seven others. Biggs noted how the FBI had “no qualms” about surveilling everyday Americans.
“You mentioned the Catholics. You mentioned the parent/teacher, folks who wanted to get in there and find out what their teachers were teaching. In the meantime, the same administration was letting literally thousands of people, millions of people across, many of them criminals, many of them terrorists across our southern border,” Biggs said during an appearance on “The Chris Salcedo Show.”
