A political action committee behind Amendment 4, which would have allowed abortions until viability, will disband Tuesday, reports Florida Politics.

Floridians Protecting Freedom, “a statewide campaign of allied organizations and concerned citizens working together to limit government interference with abortion,” according to its website, submitted a disbandment letter to Florida’s Division of Elections last week.

The report comes a week after the group paid a $164,000 settlement with the state after allegations of fraudulent petitions and three petition circulators for the organization were convicted for illegal activities gathering signatures.
