The Trump Tower in Manhattan will receive extra protection as New York City heightened security after a terrorist attack in New Orleans and an explosion outside of a Trump property in Las Vegas.

Mayor Eric Adams referenced both incidents in a post to X on Thursday.

“While there are no immediate threats to our city at this time, out of an abundance of caution, we have heightened security and have increased NYPD presence at relevant locations, including at Trump Tower and in Times Square,” Adams said in the post.
