New Jersey’s residents shouldn’t be trying to take out drones that are circling over their state, but the federal government should be able to bring them down safely to analyze them, New Jersey state Sen. Michael Testa said on Newsmax Sunday.
“If we don’t know who owns these drones, if we don’t know what their intent is, we don’t know where their flight pattern originates from, and we don’t know where they are returning to, I think we do need our agencies, such as either the Coast Guard, the Air Force, the National Guard to be able to shoot these drones down,” the Republican lawmaker said on Newsmax’s “Sunday Report.”
State officials, he added, don’t have answers to “very key questions.”
