Karoline Leavitt, who will be President-elect Donald Trump’s White House press secretary, told Newsmax on Friday that Americans should expect to see much different, and more transparent, press briefings than under the Biden administration.
“I can definitely assure your audience is that they are going to be receiving truth from the White House press secretary, and they are also going to be seeing a lot more of the leader of the free world,” Leavitt told “Rob Schmitt Tonight.” “If you recall, in President Trump’s first term, he himself took to the White House podium. He often called the press into the Oval Office to talk to them directly and take questions from them.
“So, we are going to be a much more transparent, truthful and accessible White House than what the American people have seen over the past four years. And I will work hard every day to effectively communicate President Trump’s message to as many Americans as possible. We do have some fun changes to share. Stay tuned next week.”
