Every House Democrat is expected to attend the speaker vote on Friday, even some legislators with health issues that have kept them from traveling to the Capitol, Politico reported.
The office of House Minority Whip Katherine Clark, D-Mass., said on Friday that all members of the Democratic Caucus are expected to attend the vote on Friday, according to The Hill.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., released a video on social media earlier this week confirming that she was flying back to the U.S. despite recently having hip replacement surgery in Luxembourg after she suffered a fall while traveling.
