It’s crucial that House Republicans work with Donald Trump in the first 100 days of his presidency to make sure his agenda gets off to a good start, Rep. James Comer told Newsmax on Monday.
The Kentucky Republican, who is chair of the House Oversight Committee, said on “Wake Up America” that the difficulties in passing last week’s government spending bill were “a good lesson for everyone as to how the process is going to be moving forward.”
He emphasized that many of “my colleagues in the House, their heart is in the right place, but … they let the perfect get in the way as to what can actually be accomplished and what can be done.”
