Americans are, according to a CNN poll conducted by SSRS, closely divided on their outlooks for President Trump’s second terms.
The poll found that 52% of adults have positive feelings, while 48% were negative.
For Americans who express enthusiasm or optimism, one of the biggest drivers is that Trump will improve the economy. For Americans who are pessimistic about it, they are most likely to be concerned about Trump’s character, as well as worries of rising bigotry or weakened democracy.
