Google Calendar no longer includes references to Black History Month after the company recently opted to move away from cultural observances.
According to the Washington Examiner, Google began phasing out cultural holidays from its online and mobile calendars in the middle of last year.
Along with the start of Black History Month on Feb. 1, other events that will no longer be displayed are the beginning of Women’s History Month on March 1, Pride Month on June 1, and Indigenous Peoples Month on Nov. 1.
