Rep. Jared Moskowitz, R-Fla., told Newsmax on Tuesday that the United States should help broker a Gaza reconstruction deal by expanding the Abraham Accords, but it should not be responsible for funding it.

Moskowitz, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, made the remarks during an appearance on “The Record With Greta Van Susteren,” where he discussed the future of Gaza following the destruction caused by the ongoing conflict with Israel.

“I think those questions are still undecided,” Moskowitz said when asked who will oversee and pay for Gaza’s rebuilding. “I don’t think the United States has responsibility to pay for it, but I do think we should be at the table with other nations in the area.”
