Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to the president and senior director for counterterrorism in the Trump administration, told Newsmax on Tuesday that public opinion will remain on the side of mass deportations of illegal immigrants because 77 million Americans “chose common sense” on Nov. 5.
Gorka made the remarks in an appearance on “Rob Schmitt Tonight” while discussing Week 2 of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration.
“Look, Rob, I don’t think there needs to be any kind of special policy because 77 million Americans chose common sense. They realized that four years of open borders is sheer insanity,” Gorka told host Rob Schmitt. “Allowing millions of people into this country unvetted isn’t just bad for the economy and for the working American, it’s also a national security threat.”
