Retired race car driver Danica Patrick told Newsmax on Friday that the public support of President-elect Donald Trump by CEOs and entertainers has shown “it’s now cool to be Republican.”
Patrick said Trump has managed to appeal to individuals not typically prone to voting Republican because it has become obvious to many that the country has “lost its way.”
“And I think that people are just excited about getting back to some of the old ideals and ways of living that we loved and also some new, exciting ones. So I just think that the country is ready for it,” Patrick said during an appearance on “Finnerty.”
