Waltz Vows NSC Overhaul: Resignations 12:01 P.M., Jan. 20

Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., set to be President-elect Donald Trump’s national security adviser, announced a sweeping personnel overhaul of the National Security Council, pledging that all Biden administration-era appointments will vacate their posts by 12:01 p.m. on Inauguration Day, Breitbart reported Thursday.

Waltz emphasized the need for a team fully aligned with Trump’s agenda, ensuring a seamless execution of national security policies.

“All detailees from the Biden administration will be asked to resign by 12:01 p.m. on Jan. 20,” Waltz told Breitbart. He explained this decision addresses issues encountered during Trump’s first term, particularly with those whose actions conflicted with the administration’s objectives.
