Thousands of buildings, homes and landmarks in Pacific Palisades, Altadena and Pasadena have burned down since Tuesday in the Greater Los Angeles wildfires, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Five people have died but officials say the death toll is likely to be higher as firefighters continue to battle multiple major wildfires.
Much of Los Angeles County remains under a red flag warning through Friday night, which means the combination of warm temperatures, low humidities and strong winds are expected to increase the risk of fire.
