Rep. Mark Alford, R-Mo., told Newsmax on Monday that critics of President-elect Donald Trump and his adviser Elon Musk are “scared of people who are successful in America,” and the cuts they plan to make to government spending.
Alford, in an interview with “Newsline” on Monday, hit out at coverage of Elon Musk, one of Trump’s top advisers and donors who some Democrats and others online have begun calling President Musk and similar names to imply that he is actually running the country and not Trump.
Alford said that these critics are “scared of people who are successful in America.”
