A new poll released Thursday from The Washington Post shows former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris by 2 percentage points in the critical battleground state of Michigan.

The survey showed Trump leading Harris 47% to 45% among registered voters and noted a third of the respondents have already voted.  When broken down by favorability, Trump maintained a slight lead over Harris at 46% to 45%.

The former president was ahead of Harris on economic issues, 49% to 42%, immigration, 51% to 38%, and taxes 47% to 43%. The survey also found the state’s Senate race between Democrat Elissa Slotkin and Republican Mike Rogers was closer than anticipated with Slotkin leading 46% to 45% among registered voters.
